The Horsey Quilt for my niece. It's hard to see by the photo - the tan color blocks are horses and the red are bridles and bits, etc. The backing is a fabric of horses running in the snow. She loves it!
The blue ones were made from cotton fabrics for a nephew and niece in Texas. All the fabric squares were of something special in their lives.
This is the Katrina Quilt I made and donated recently & a close-up. I used just fabrics from my stash so I could get it finished and off to someone who needed a warm quilt.
Rail Fence Quilts
I made these for a friend. She chose the fabrics and I did the sewing. A classic Rail Quilt Pattern. Large Lap Quilt size 57" square.
This quilt was started by my daughter. She gathered the cotton fabrics, cut the squares and started the sewing and then Madi came along and she ran out of time. So she turned it over to me and I finished the sewing, stitched in the ditch between the squares and then quilt stippled many embroidery designs in the squares. Madi will enjoy this quilt well into her teen years. It has a butterfly fabric backing with a turned up and over binding. It is 60" x 54"
