All of Gramma's Minky Security Blankies are handmade right here in Alaska by me. I use high quality, warm, soft, cuddly "Minky Micro Plush," "Double-Sided Minky," "Raised Dot Minky," "White Dot Minky" and "Double-Sided Spa Minky" (the softest fabric ever!) with a Satin Binding on most. I have various combinations of fabrics on some and some are Double Sided with Minky on both sides. Security Blankies are 18" x 18" and Crib Size Blankets are 36" x 42" and others, 36" x 36" and 30" x 40" available where noted.
Blankies are big enough for tots to carry around with them and not drag on the floor. They can even be used as a small covering for baby in their seat or swing when a larger blanket is too much. They are machine washable and dryable of course. All seams are securely stitched.
NOTE: "Minky" fabric is fairly expensive, but if your child loves to feel soft things, they will love Oh So Soft "Minky."

All are washable and dryable - low heat. Regular Minky can be substituted for Dot Minky - price stays the same.

Most Blankies now come with a satin fabric loop sewn onto binding seam. Great for using a "Loopy Leash"
to attach the Blankie to a car seat strap, high chair, shopping cart, etc., so it doesn't get lost.

I only have the 2" wide satin bindings and cannot make a narrower satin binding at these prices. The time involved is not cost effective. Until I can find a narrow ready made binding I will only use the 2".

Madi Update: Yes it happened... Mommy forgot my Blankie at Daycare on a Friday and it was a
3 DAY WEEKEND !! She called my Gramma in Alaska and Gramma made me another one exactly like my favorite Blankie so I'll always have one at HOME too! So ONE Blankie isn't enough for us! Have an extra made by Gramma!

These are a little lower pile (length of the soft fibers) than those above. They are very soft and supple. Colors are approximate - the Blue-Lavender is mostly Lavender with a Blue tint - beautiful!

This is so soft and beautiful! It's like little rosebud swirls in the Minky.
