Those Binkys (pacifiers) just always fall on the dirty floor. Pacifier clips are available that are fancy and expensive and will do the job. But Gramma is a little thrifty so here's my version. They are inexpensive and work great.
A plastic alligator-type clip is attached securely using a zig-zag stitch at one end of the ribbon and a snap closure which loops through the pacifier "handle". The clip is attached to baby's clothing or blanket and when the pacifier (known as Binky for a lot of babies) pops out of baby's mouth, it will only go the length (7" for Short and 9" for Long - when snapped) of the ribbon, keeping it off the floor, away from the dog or losing it in the car.
It's available in any of the colors shown below. You'll need more than one! Also choose a length. Some prefer Short, some like them Long and it may depend on the age of your Binky user.
Binky Leashes are washable - I suggest pinning them inside a small sock to protect the clip. Hang to dry to protect clip.

Gramma's "Whatever Leashes" can hang onto blankets, stuffed toys, an extra jacket.... whatever can take a trip out of strollers, car seats, baby carriers or high chairs. Also can hold a cloth for use as a bib - See metal clips at the right. Babies and toddlers LOVE to toss stuff on the floor and sometimes it disappears forever or the dog runs off with it....

Gramma's "Loopy Leashes" can be looped onto another loop or whatever you need it to be snapped onto to hold a Binky or whatever can take a trip out of strollers, car seats, baby carriers or high chairs. Babies and toddlers LOVE to toss stuff on the floor and sometimes it disappears forever or the dog runs off with it....
A snapped loop on EACH end of the ribbon. You loop them as needed. Ribbon when snapped is 9" long.
